The Chocolat Bar

The other day I was talking with a few friends and we agreed that we had both been craving chocolate for a while. A month into college and we realized that we hadn’t eaten any since we’d been home, which obviously needed to be fixed. After a little googling, I found a chocolate shop right in downtown Boise, and there began my next adventure!
Of course, we picked the first day it actually rained in Boise for our little biking adventure, however with a raincoat it wasn’t that bad. The bike ride from campus was only 15 minutes and we got to ride through downtown, which is always a plus. We arrived at The Chocolat Bar, and after walking in, I was a little overwhelmed by all my options. There were all kinds of chocolates like truffles, barks, caramels, bars, and more! I ended up with a milk chocolate bar and a “Nipples of Venus” truffle. The truffle was my favorite!! Filled with ganache and vanilla it melted in your mouth like a bite of heaven.
I would recommend The Chocolat Bar. Anyone can tell that the chocolates there are made by hand and they pride themselves on their work. Both my treats together were about $4, which was a bit pricey, but to me worth it considering the quality. This fun adventure will fulfill any sweet tooth!
